"He wants revenge": Eddie Hearn reveals Anthony Joshua's plans
Promoter Eddie Hearn believes British boxer Anthony Joshua will have his next fight in late spring or early summer, but the fighter is still planning a rematch with Daniel Dubois.
Quote: "Anthony isn’t fully training yet; he won’t begin proper training until January, so we’re aiming for a fight in May or June.
His target is Dubois. If you’re a fighter, and you’ve been beaten, you want to avenge that loss. I don’t think his plans will change. A lot will depend on the Usyk-Fury fight. Next week is going to be very interesting," Hearn told BoxingScene.
Reminder: There were rumors that Joshua might face Dubois again on February 22, but instead, Dubois is set to fight Joseph Parker while Joshua continues recovering from injuries sustained in their first bout.
