“He Wants Everything to Be Right” – Antoine Semenyo Praises Enzo Maresca’s Training Methods
Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has praised Enzo Maresca's coaching approach, describing the new Chelsea manager's training sessions as detailed, demanding and focused on perfection.
Maresca, who succeeded Pep Guardiola earlier this summer, has already made a strong impression on his squad as Chelsea continue their preparations for the new season.
Speaking ahead of the Blues' pre-season clash against Inter, scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. (UK time) kick-off on Saturday, Semenyo spoke positively about life under the Italian coach.
“Very good, very detailed,” he said about the manager’s training sessions, as quoted from Man City official website.
“He’s got an eye for detail and he wants everything to be right, which is quite similar to Pep. That’s good for us as players so we’ve enjoyed it so far.”
Since joining City in the second half of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Semenyo has already played 27 times for City and has scored 11 goals in total for Manchester City across all competitions.
