The English Premier League has announced the winner of the Player of the Month award for December.

The honor goes to Bournemouth's leading goal-scorer, Dominic Solanke, who scored 6 goals in 6 matches during December. He found the net against Fulham, Manchester United, Aston Villa, and secured a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest.

In the voting results, Solanke surpassed Son Heung-Min, Cole Palmer, Marcos Senesi, Mohammed Kudus, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Michael Olise, and Matheus Cunha.

Solanke has become the first player in the history of Bournemouth to win this award.

In the current season, Solanke has already scored 12 goals in 19 matches, trailing only behind Erling Haaland and Mohammed Salah, who have 14 each.

Bournemouth currently sits in 12th place in the English Premier League with one game in hand. In the FA Cup, the Cherries advanced to the 1/32 finals by staging an incredible comeback against Queens Park Rangers.
