Muslera is a true legend of the Uruguayan national team. He has played 133 matches for them, which is the fourth-highest in history and a record among goalkeepers. Only Edinson Cavani, Luis SuΓ‘rez, and Diego GodΓ­n have played more matches.

With the Uruguayan national team, Muslera was a key player in three World Cups, and in the last World Cup, he was the backup goalkeeper. He also won the Copa AmΓ©rica in 2011.

At the club level, Muslera has been with Galatasaray since 2011, playing a total of 503 matches for the team.
