"He looks uncertain and frightened." Real Madrid legend criticizes Mbappé
Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti commented on the performance of star newcomer Kylian Mbappé at the Spanish club.
Details: According to Guti, the French forward lacks confidence.
Quote: "We all want to know what's happening with Mbappé. He looks uncertain, shy... Just moments before the penalty, he looked frightened... In this sense, he's clearly unhappy with his performance and wants more.
He lacks confidence. To add to that, Real Madrid were a bit wary of him, as he was leaving his comfort zone at PSG, where everything was under control.
Kylian has now moved to a new team where, without a doubt, he will have to compete with great players to become the best, and that comes with a price. The Real Madrid jersey is a difficult one to wear... and that's normal. It's naïve to think that a player can adapt so quickly, especially in a club like Real, where it is so hard to play," Guti told Marca.
Reminder: It’s worth noting that in the Champions League match against Liverpool (0-2), the Frenchman missed a penalty.
