"He is the greatest of all," Lionel Messi named the best athlete, in his opinion

Lionel Messi revealed who he believes is the greatest athlete, in his opinion, naming basketball player Michael Jordan.

"In terms of sports, I think he is the greatest of all. But after watching the series about him and learning a bit more... 'The Last Dance' just blows your mind, it's a masterpiece, it's impressive.

It also brought me closer to him and allowed me to understand a bit more about who he was. It's a shame I couldn't experience that era personally, because I would have enjoyed it," Messi stated in a Clank! podcast.

He added that he's not a basketball fan and knows little about the sport. However, Messi believes Jordan was something special for all of sports, not just basketball. The Argentine also mentioned he would like to take a photo with him.

In other news, Lionel Messi recently shared his thoughts on the possibility of recreating the legendary MSN trio in Inter Miami.
