Ryan Gravenberch is having a solid season with Liverpool and is a key part of the Merseyside midfield. Moreover, his agent is confident: the player is worthy of playing for Real Madrid.
Details: According to Ryan Gravenberch's agent, Jose Fortes, the Dutch midfielder is fully up to the standard of the Madrid club. However, Liverpool would demand too high a fee, making the transfer unlikely despite the interest from the 'Galacticos'.
Quote: "He is good enough for Real Madrid. We would like him to play there, but Liverpool would ask for too much. I know Real is watching him, but at the moment it's impossible," Fortes stated in a comment to Marca.
Notably, on September 1, 2023, Gravenberch joined Liverpool, signing a long-term contract. The transfer fee was 18.5 million euros.
By the way, Liverpool and Mohamed Salah are close to extending their contract — negotiations are in the final stages.
Reminder: Earlier we reported that Dutch centre-back Virgil van Dijk confirmed progress in negotiations with the Reds regarding a new contract.
