Quinten Timber has taken a decisive step toward another major move in his career.
Details: According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, the Marseille midfielder has decided that he wants to join Crystal Palace. The Netherlands international has given priority to the Premier League club and is now waiting for the two sides to find common ground over the transfer.
For now, there is no final agreement between Marseille and Crystal Palace. The clubs remain in negotiations and must settle the terms of the deal before Timber can formally complete his move to England.
The 25-year-old midfielder had also attracted interest from Porto in recent weeks, but the player has now made his preferred destination clear. A move to Crystal Palace would take Timber to the Premier League, where his twin brother Jurriën plays for Arsenal.
It is worth noting that Timber only joined Marseille from Feyenoord in January 2026 for €4.5 million. Foot Mercato reports that Transfermarkt currently values the Dutch midfielder at €25 million.
