This summer, Bayern Munich strengthened their squad by acquiring Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise. The player quickly adapted to his new team, scoring three goals in his first four Bundesliga matches, and netting a brace in a UEFA Champions League encounter.

Olise’s performances have impressed not only Bayern’s head coach Vincent Kompany, but also his teammate, Harry Kane.

Details: In yesterday’s Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen, Olise played the full 90 minutes and contributed to four of Bayern’s five goals, scoring twice and providing two assists.

After the match, Kompany praised Olise, calling him a “special talent,” while Kane referred to him as a “fantastic player.”

Quote: “Michael Olise is a special talent. It’s a luxury to have so many good players at Bayern. Michael performed incredibly well. His start here couldn’t have been better. He just needs to keep this up. I don’t get the sense that he’s a player who feels a lot of pressure,” Kompany said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

“He’s a fantastic player and a really good guy. He’s enjoying his time here in Munich. And what a performance [against Bremen] – two goals and two assists, even though he was tightly marked throughout. He wants to keep improving, he wants to score goals, he wants to provide assists.

You don’t see the real Michael from the outside, but on the inside, he’s a genuinely great guy. We have a good relationship so far,” Kane told Bild during an interview.

Reminder: Bayern Munich signed Michael Olise for €55 million. The winger has only come off the bench once in the Bundesliga, having already secured his spot in the starting lineup. His three goals in the German league place him fourth on the top scorers list, trailing Kane by two goals.
