“He does it well”. Maresca comments on Delap, who interests Chelsea

London's Chelsea has long been linked with various forwards. The latest rumors have reached Ipswich striker Liam Delap, prompting "the Blues" head coach Enzo Maresca to comment.

Details: The Chelsea coach praised Delap for his goal-scoring prowess but also emphasized that numbers aren't the only metric to consider. Many other factors must be taken into account.

Quote: “He does it fantastically well, having already scored 12 goals. But it's not just about the numbers; it's also about his style of play, his fighting spirit, and being always in the right place,” Maresca stated.

Reminder: In the match against Warsaw's Legia, Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho registered his first goal contribution in three months.

Previously, it was reported that the striker's contract includes a £30 million release clause, which activates if Ipswich is relegated from the Premier League.
