He combined it with a short vacation. Yamal continues his recovery from the injury in Dubai
The dependency of Barcelona on Lamine Yamal has become evident this season, as the Catalans have not won a single match in which the 17-year-old player did not start. They hope to address this issue in early 2025, as Yamal is expected to be unavailable for the next few weeks.
Details: Yamal will not participate in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 match against Barbastro, but both he and the club are doing everything possible for him to recover in time and travel to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup, where Barcelona will face Athletic in the semifinals on January 8.
Reminder: Lamine suffered an ankle injury during Barcelona's recent home match against Leganes. While the rest of the team has started their winter break, Yamal flew to Dubai to continue his recovery.
