“He Can Win the Ballon d’Or.” — Victor Osimhen Backs Kvaratskhelia for Ballon d’Or Glory

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has thrown his support behind former Napoli teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, tipping the Georgian winger as a genuine Ballon d’Or contender.

Speaking on The 360 Experience with Onah Kosi, the Nigerian forward was asked to name the best player he shared a dressing room with during his time at Napoli. Osimhen did not hesitate in naming Kvaratskhelia.

“Kvaratskhelia”, Osimhen simply said when asked about his best teammate.

“He is such an amazing player. I mean, in the dressing room and on the pitch, he’s a top guy.

“When he came to Naples, I used to say, ‘Inshallah, in the near future, he can win the Ballon d’Or.’ He can really do that.”
