Relebohile Mofokeng has been at the center of intense transfer speculation, and his next move remains uncertain. His father has now shared insight into the current situation.
Details: Speaking to iDiskiTimes, he revealed that the phone hasn’t stopped ringing — to the point where he sometimes can’t even eat — but emphasized they’re in no rush. Timing and readiness are the key priorities.
Quote: “Why shouldn’t he leave? He’s done everything he needed to do here. Now it’s time for a new challenge — a new league, new people, new pressure. He can play anywhere — even for Barcelona or Real Madrid. He’s not afraid. He just needs a chance,” said Sekhba Mofokeng.
As previously reported, Relebohile Mofokeng has been linked with a move to Maccabi Haifa, but there’s a complication. The transfer could collapse due to the military situation and security risks in a country currently at war with Iran.
Reminder: The young Orlando Pirates star is also on the radar of English League One side Reading. In addition, two more Israeli clubs have expressed interest in him.
