"He can help us": Enzo Maresca comments on Chalobah's return

Chelsea has decided to strengthen their defense by recalling Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell. The head coach explained the decision.

Details: During a press conference ahead of the next match, Enzo Maresca stated that the situation was straightforward. Chelsea needed defenders, prompting the decision to bring back Trevoh.

Quote: "It's quite simple. We have a few injuries, and we were looking for possible solutions. We thought the best option would be to bring back Trevoh. He can help us. I’ve already spoken to him, and I’m happy he’s returned. He knows everything here far better than I do," Maresca said.

During the same conference, he also mentioned that the English midfielder missed the latest training session due to an ankle injury sustained in the first half of the previous game. Additionally, Enzo Fernández, Levi Colwill, and Romeo Lavia also missed training.

Reminder: Chelsea aims to strengthen their attacking flanks and has already initiated talks with two clubs regarding potential transfers.
