Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté has revealed that Kylian Mbappé regularly calls him, trying to convince him to move to Real Madrid.

In an interview with Telefoot, the player admitted that the 'Los Blancos' frontman uses every opportunity to lure him to Spain: "He calls me every two hours and suggests I join Real."

The Madrid club is in no rush, hoping the player will refuse to extend his contract and be able to move for free in the summer—similar to the situation with Alexander-Arnold.

The Reds' management are planning to offer the player a new contract to avoid a repeat of the Trent Alexander-Arnold departure. The 26-year-old Frenchman's deal expires next summer, and from January he is officially allowed to negotiate with foreign clubs.
