"Haven't smiled in six months". Vitor Roque hints he was unhappy at Barcelona

Barcelona winger Vitor Roque, who joined Real Betis on loan this summer, hinted that he was unhappy during his time with the Blaugrana.

Quote: “My family and I went through very tough times, and now they are smiling with me. I hadn't smiled for 6 or 7 months.

I’m very happy at Betis! I’m smiling again here. I’m living well, and I’d love to continue playing here,” Roque said.

Reminder: Vitor Roque moved to Betis on a one-year loan with an option to extend for another season. His new club took on the responsibility of covering his salary and retains a buyout option, reportedly set at €25 million.
