Has Chelsea changed their stance on Nkunku's transfer?
Christopher Nkunku is currently not getting much game time at Chelsea, sparking rumors about his potential departure. So, is the London club willing to let him go?
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea’s stance remains unchanged on this matter. The club intends to keep the player and is not entertaining any transfer offers. However, the situation could change if Nkunku himself requests a move. As of now, he has not done so.
Nkunku joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023. Last season, he was limited to just 14 matches due to injuries, scoring three goals. This season, he has managed 27 appearances and scored 12 goals.
Reminder: Chelsea’s executives are confident the club will comply with the Premier League's profitability and sustainability regulations. Since Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali took charge, the Blues have made massive investments in the transfer market.
It was recently revealed that Chelsea is planning a significant squad overhaul.
