Harry Maguire comments on new Manchester United deal

Harry Maguire has been playing for Manchester United for many years, and both parties are currently in negotiations over a new contract, which the defender has now addressed.

Details: In an interview with The Standard, the English centre-back said that talks with the club are ongoing and it appears an agreement could be reached.

Quote: “Talks have taken place. I think we will reach an agreement that is best for the club and for me. The club wants me to continue helping push it forward, and they feel I have an important role to play,” Maguire said.

Incidentally, Manchester United’s board of directors have reached an agreement with the club’s 20-year-old central midfielder Kobbie Mainoo over a new long-term contract.
