Hany Said: Pyramids Ready for Tough Clash Against AS FAR in CAF Champions League
Pyramids FC’s sporting director, Hany Said, has emphasized the difficulty of their upcoming quarterfinal match against Morocco’s AS FAR in the CAF Champions League.
Speaking to the club’s media center, Said acknowledged the pressure on his team, as they aim to bring pride to Egyptian football.
He expressed his desire for an all-Egyptian final between Pyramids FC and Al Ahly, ensuring the CAF Champions League trophy remains in Egypt.
"We have full confidence in our players and coaching staff. The team is fully prepared for the next phase of the tournament, regardless of the opponent," Said stated.
Prior to turning their attention to the Champions League quarterfinals, he emphasized that the team's present emphasis is on finishing their league obligations.
"The next phase is demanding and calls your complete focus. We need to win several important league games before we go on to the critical stage. We also have games in the League Cup and Egypt Cup before we focus on the CAF Champions League," he continued.
Pyramids FC will try to maintain their successful continental campaign by playing AS FAR in a much-anticipated two-leg match.
