Hansi Flick pleased with Barcelona's performance despite defeat to Atlético

Barcelona suffered a last-minute 1-2 loss to Atlético Madrid in their latest La Liga match, but head coach Hansi Flick expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance.

Details: According to Sport.es, Flick told the players in the dressing room that he was content with their display against Atlético. While pointing out a few mistakes, he emphasized that the team is on the right path and tried to boost the players’ morale.

However, some players remain visibly frustrated. Iñigo Martínez, Pedri, and Raphinha were noticeably dejected, while Dani Olmo and Robert Lewandowski expressed disappointment in their own form. Overall, the team’s morale is low, making the upcoming Christmas break a crucial period for rest and recovery.

Barcelona’s recent results in La Liga have been underwhelming. Over their last seven matches, they have secured only one win, with four losses and two draws.

Reminder: Following this match, Atlético Madrid moved to the top of the La Liga table, three points ahead of Barcelona and four clear of city rivals Real Madrid.
