Hansi Flick has addressed recent speculation about Pablo Gavi's potential move to the right-back position, stating that he does not see Gavi as a suitable player for that role. The Barcelona and Spain coach emphasized that Gavi's strengths lie elsewhere on the field.

Gavi, who was born on 05/08/2004 in Los Palacios y Villafranca, Spain, is primarily known as a central midfielder. His aggressive style of play and technical ability have made him a key figure for both FC Barcelona and the Spain national team. He made his first-team debut for Barcelona in 2021 at the age of 17 and has since become an important part of the squad.

Flick confirmed that Gavi is always an available option for the team but noted that once the match begins, that option can sometimes disappear. The coach has had discussions with Gavi about his role to ensure he feels confident in his current position.

It's worth noting that Gavi's contract with FC Barcelona is set to expire on 30/06/2030, and he remains a crucial player for both the club and the Spain national team.
