Hakim Ziyech Set to Join Botafogo After Leaving Wydad Casablanca

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is reportedly close to joining Brazilian side Botafogo after leaving Wydad Casablanca as a free agent.

The 33-year-old winger terminated his contract with Wydad after a short spell at the Moroccan club, making 16 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ziyech is expected to travel to Brazil on Tuesday to complete his move to Botafogo.

“Here we go! Hakim Ziyech lands in Brazil on Tuesday to sign as new Botafogo player,” Romano reported.

The deal has already been completed in principle, with the Moroccan set to sign for Botafogo after becoming a free agent following his departure from Wydad.
