Hafid Abdessadek Vows to Lead Raja Casablanca to Victory Against Sundowns of CAF Champions League Clash

Raja Casablanca's interim head coach, Hafid Abdessadek, has reaffirmed his commitment to securing a vital win over South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns in their upcoming CAF Champions League group stage encounter.

Raja has to win this Saturday's game in order to move on to the quarterfinals. In his pregame remarks, Abdessadek underlined the significance of the match and the need for optimal preparation in spite of the club's difficult situation.

Despite Raja's current struggles, Abdessadek stated during the pregame news conference, "We are preparing to face Sundowns in the best possible way."

He added, “The players know how important this game is because winning is key to our chances of making it to the quarterfinals.”

Abdessadek also made it clear that he is fully qualified to coach the team, and the club has received approval from CAF to let him lead from the bench.

“We’re expecting a very difficult match, and we have no option but to win if we want to improve our position in Group B,” he emphasized.

The coach ended by asking for the support of Raja’s loyal fans, understanding their disappointment with the team’s current situation.

Sundowns are at the top of Group B with 5 points, while Raja are last with only 1 point, making this a must-win game for the Moroccan team.
