Habib Diarra has been on a roll with Sunderland since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations
The Senegalese midfielder has scored three goals in eight appearances in all competitions.
Habib Diarra has been in fine form with Sunderland since the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final, won by the Lions of Terranga. The 22-year-old Senegalese international has scored three times for his English club.
On Tuesday 3 March, on the Matchday 29 of the Premier League, the midfielder struck again to give the Black Cats victory on the pitch at Leeds United. Thanks to a penalty awarded after a shot by Wilson Isidor hit Ethan Ampadu's hand, the Senegalese scored the only goal of the match.
This is Diarra's third goal in eight games in all competitions since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations. It's a fine performance for the Senegalese midfielder, who arrived at Sunderland last summer.
