Wolverhampton could cash in a hefty sum.
Details: According to reputable journalist and insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, 25-year-old Norwegian forward Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolverhampton has become a top target for Crystal Palace.
At Palace, there’s a clear understanding that Marc Guehi’s departure this summer is inevitable, which is why the club is already searching for a new team captain. Larsen’s composed and reliable performances for the Wolves make him one of the prime candidates to fill that role at Crystal Palace.
Besides Palace, West Ham are also keeping close tabs on the Norwegian and hope to beat their rivals to his signature as early as this winter.
Wolverhampton value Jørgen Strand Larsen at no less than €55 million.
Larsen joined Wolves last summer from Celta for €27 million. This season, the defender has featured in 18 matches for the club, scoring 3 goals.
His current contract with Palace runs until 2030, while his market value, according to Transfermarkt, stands at €40 million.
