This follows incidents that occurred on 29 March during the match between Guediawaye and AS Pikine as part of the matchday 21 of the Senegalese Ligue 1.

The match was marred by acts of vandalism outside the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium. The incidents took place on Sunday 29 March 2026. Having strongly condemned these acts a few days earlier, the Senegalese Professional Football League has taken action against Guediawaye.

Two sanctions have been imposed on the Senegalese first division club. Guediawaye supporters are banned from travelling to the next three away matches. The club is required to play its next three home league matches at a neutral ground.
