Guardiola sets Raphinha as Manchester City's next transfer target
Manchester City's ongoing struggles have forced the club to overhaul its squad, and Pep Guardiola has identified a player he wants to bring in.
Details: According to El Nacional, Manchester City is targeting Barcelona star Raphinha.
However, completing this transfer will be extremely challenging, as Barcelona is only willing to entertain offers starting at €100 million for the Brazilian forward.
Raphinha himself is fully happy at Barcelona and has no current plans to leave the club.
The Brazilian previously had a successful stint in England with Leeds United, from where he moved to Barcelona.
This season, Raphinha has been in remarkable form, scoring 20 goals and providing 11 assists in 29 matches across all competitions.
Reminder: Earlier today, Manchester City announced the signing of Lens and Uzbekistan national team defender Abdukodir Khusanov. Additionally, Palmeiras center-back Vitor Reis is also expected to finalize his move to the club shortly.
