Yesterday, Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League, but the team’s star player, Kevin De Bruyne, was absent due to an injury he sustained during the Champions League clash against Inter. However, there is now clarity on when the Belgian midfielder might return.

Details: Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted that De Bruyne’s return won’t be immediate, and he is unlikely to feature in the next two matches.

"I don't think Kevin De Bruyne's injury will keep him out for long. I can't say for sure about Watford, and I’m unsure about Newcastle. But I believe it won’t be a lengthy absence," Guardiola stated.

Reminder: City were also without their key midfielder Rodri, who suffered an injury as well. His condition is believed to be more serious.

After the match, City's top scorer, Erling Haaland, reportedly called Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus a “clown.”
