After today's matchday in the English Premier League, the leader has once again changed. Both Arsenal and Liverpool lost their matches simultaneously, allowing Manchester City to take the top spot in the table with six matches remaining.

Following Arsenal's defeat against Aston Villa (0-2), Gary Neville commented on the Gunners' loss.

"It's a significant day in the title race this season. A fantastic second half from Villa, Emery, and all his players. They were outstanding. They completely changed the situation, they played, they played, and they played - and they tired Arsenal out. It seemed like Arsenal didn't have an answer. Arteta has a big job on his hands this week to make sure the balloon doesn't burst this season."

Arsenal legend Paul Merson praised the opponents of both Arsenal and Liverpool in this round.

"The two teams Liverpool and Arsenal played against were outstanding. Everything has turned upside down now. Manchester City was putting pressure on them, playing first, and they couldn't cope with it. But credit to Crystal Palace and Aston Villa, they were absolutely outstanding."

Another Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Redknapp, believes that Manchester City can already be congratulated on winning the title.

"Now I can picture Guardiola. He's just opened a beautiful bottle of red Spanish wine, pulled out a cigar, and is playing Wonderwall. He can't believe it."

Additionally, with six matches remaining in the season, the 'Cityzens' lead the league table, ahead of their rivals by two points.
