Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, delivered a heartwarming and funny birthday greeting to her beloved, who celebrated his birthday yesterday. Antonela posted the tribute on her Instagram page.

Roccuzzo shared several photos with Lionel, featuring him posing alongside her and their sons. To top it off, she posted a picture of Leo with a birthday cake crowned by a figurine of a grumpy Smurf holding a football. The playful jab was spot on, as everyone knows Messi is often nicknamed “the gnome.”
“Happy birthday, grumpy old man! The best dad, the best partner, the best at everything!!! We’re so lucky to have you! We love you🤍🎂,” Antonela wrote in her post’s caption.
As a reminder, Lionel Messi turned 38 yesterday. The Argentine is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers in history. He has won every major trophy in football, including the 2022 World Cup, and holds a record eight Ballon d'Or awards.
