Antoine Griezmann has become the top scorer in the history of Atlético Madrid. The French forward netted against their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, in the semi-final match of the Spanish Super Cup.
This goal marked Griezmann's 174th in an Atlético jersey across all competitions, placing him at the forefront of the club's all-time scorers' list. He surpassed Luis Aragones, who previously held the record with 173 goals.
In the current season, the Frenchman has already scored 17 goals across various competitions following Atlético's complete acquisition of his contract from Barcelona.
