Gregory Ayem had been on trial at Montpellier for several weeks. The 20-year-old took part in the club’s pre-season preparations, playing in two friendly matches and scoring one goal.
He thus impressed the Montpellier management, who decided to offer him his first professional contract. Gregory Ayem has signed a three-season contract, running until 2029.
Before signing for Montpellier, the 20-year-old played for Racing Club de France.
