Despite an impressive tally of 25 goals this season, Mason Greenwood's career at Marseille is now under threat due to a catastrophic breakdown in his relationship with club management and staff.

Details: According to L'Equipe, a major crisis is brewing behind the scenes at the French powerhouse: Greenwood's behavior and attitude have pushed the club to the brink of exhaustion with their star striker.

The core of the conflict centers on Greenwood's nonexistent relationship with sporting director Mehdi Benatia—reports say they completely ignore each other on a daily basis. Benatia's fury was sparked when the player decided to boycott a marketing campaign for the club's technical sponsor, driving the director into a rage.

The situation is further aggravated by repeated breaches of discipline: Greenwood skips French lessons, disregards post-match recovery protocols, and even ignores head coach Habib Beye's instructions during training sessions. Persistent fines have failed to have any effect.

It's worth noting that this season, the English winger has featured in 43 matches across all competitions for the French club, netting 25 goals and providing 10 assists.

Reminder: Liverpool have set their sights on PSG's star goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.
