Green light! Marc Bernal to play in Catalonia vs Palestine friendly

Details: According to DiarioSport, 18-year-old defensive midfielder Marc Bernal of Catalan giants Barcelona has received the green light from the club's management and coaching staff to participate in the upcoming friendly between the Catalonia and Palestine national teams, scheduled for November 18.

It is reported that Barcelona's management agreed to release Bernal for the match on the condition that he only plays the first half, after which he will be substituted to avoid overloading him ahead of La Liga fixtures.

Additionally, if Bernal feels comfortable during the Catalonia vs Palestine match, Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick may consider giving him minutes in the La Liga clash against Athletic Bilbao scheduled for November 22.

So far this season, Bernal has made only three appearances for Barcelona, providing one assist.
