Great victory: Angola beat Bafana Bafana to win the COSAFA Cup!

The Free State Stadium witnessed the joy of Angolan fans after their national team defeated African giants Bafana Bafana 3-0 to win the 2025 COSAFA Cup.

In the first half, South Africa dominated the game and created several clear scoring opportunities, but the lack of precision in finishing the attacks prevented them from opening the scoring. In the 43rd minute, Angola managed to score the first goal through Dipo after an assist from Pedro Bundu, ending the first half with a clean sheet for Angola.

In the second half, Angola increased their attacking tempo and pressure on a resilient Bafana defense. However, Dipo was able to add a second goal in the 62nd minute, making the task even more difficult for the South Africans.

Not content with two goals, Felicio Melson added a third goal for Bafana, completely ending any hopes of an equalizer and crushing the morale of the players and fans.

The match ended with Angola winning 3-0 to be crowned champions of the 2025 edition of the COSAFA Cup at the Frere State Stadium, while South Africa came away empty-handed despite a strong start to the match.
