Great loss. Barcelona's club doctor Carles Minarro Garcia has passed away

The clash between Barcelona and Osasuna was postponed due to a tragedy. The Catalan club announced the passing of club doctor Carles Minarro Garcia.
About an hour before the match was set to begin, reports emerged of a request to delay the start due to rumors of a serious illness affecting a Barcelona staff member. Later, the club confirmed the tragic news of the death of first-team doctor Carles Minarro Garcia, though details remain undisclosed at this time.
It is expected that additional information will be released in the coming hours. It is believed that the initiative to suspend the match came from the team, wishing to express respect and gratitude to Minarro Garcia, who had been with Barcelona since 2017. Prior to this, he spent six years as a junior doctor in the sports medicine and prevention department at the Centre d'Alt Rendiment de Sant Cugat. Simultaneously, he also served as the head of medical services at the Centre d'Esports Sabadell from 2014 to 2016. Previously, he was part of the medical staff for Barcelona's futsal team.
Additionally, La Liga supported the decision to postpone the game, and Osasuna also expressed condolences for this loss.
As for the new date of the match, no official announcements have been made yet. It is expected that a final decision will be made tomorrow to align the rescheduling with the remaining calendar of the 2024/25 season.
