Gracenote analysts have named the country that will take the most medals at the 2024 Olympics
100 days before the start of the Olympics, analysts from the company Gracenote, which specializes in collecting sports statistics, released an updated forecast for the number of medals for each country.
According to their forecast, the United States will top the medal table, with their athletes winning 123 medals, 39 of which will be gold. Following the United States is China with 89 medals, and the third place goes to the United Kingdom with 66.
France and Australia also secure places in the top 5.
The upcoming Olympics will feature the competition for 329 sets of medals across 30 sports disciplines. For the first time in Olympic history, disciplines such as breakdancing and sport climbing will be showcased.
In total, about 10,500 athletes from around the world will compete at the Olympics.
