The hosts looked set for victory after captain Augustine Okrah headed them in front in the 69th minute, putting Bechem United in control.
However, Medeama responded strongly, dominating possession and piling pressure on the home side’s defence. Their persistence paid off late on when Prince was fouled in the box, earning a crucial penalty.
