GPL: Asante Kotoko Apologise to Fans Amid Coaching Uncertainty and Poor Form
Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have issued an official apology to their supporters as the club continues to operate without a permanent head coach, while assuring fans that efforts are ongoing to appoint a substantive manager.
In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by Communications Director Sarfo Duku (Esq.), the club confirmed that the search for a new head coach is actively in progress. According to the statement, the eventual appointment will be someone whose football philosophy aligns with Kotoko’s long-term ambitions and competitive goals.
The club also addressed recent on-field struggles, acknowledging that performances have fallen short of expectations. Management admitted the results were below the standard associated with the Porcupine Warriors and apologised to supporters for the disappointing run.
