Gor Mahia Coach Charles Akonnor Wins Coach of the Month for January 2026

Gor Mahia head coach Charles Akonnor has been named the Coach of the Month for January 2026, becoming the first manager to win the award twice in the 2025/26 season.

After previously claiming the honour in October 2025, Akonnor earned his second accolade following an unbeaten January run. Gor Mahia played six matches, winning five and drawing one to maintain their position at the top of the table.
