Kalidou Koulibaly has resumed training just a few weeks before the start of the 2026 World Cup.
Having suffered an injury a few weeks ago during a training session with Al Hilal, the captain of the Lions of Teranga has got back to work. Kalidou Koulibaly is now training, according to reports.
However, the Lion of Teranga is reportedly training alone for the time being. Nevertheless, this is a positive sign for the Senegal national team. Since Kalidou Koulibaly’s injury, concerns had been mounting amongst the Senegalese regarding his availability for the World Cup scheduled for this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico. But now, Pape Thiaw can count on his captain for the trip to the Americas.
