Good news for Frank Zambo Anguissa at Napoli

The Cameroonian could return to competition this weekend after a long absence.

Zambo Anguissa's last appearance with the Azzurri was on 9 November 2025. An injury kept him off the pitch and his return, announced in January, was delayed by back pain. However, his physical condition is now reassuring.

The midfielder has resumed training with the team, according to the Italian press. He has been given the medical green light by Napoli and could even be available against Hellas Verona on Saturday 28 February in the Matchday 27 of Serie A. This is good news for the Cameroonian international, who missed the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco with the Indomitable Lions.

Zambo Anguissa has scored four goals and provided one assist for Napoli this season in 11 appearances in Italy's Serie A.
