FIFA has lifted the ban on registering new players that had been imposed on the club.
The Kinshasa-based club received an official letter from FIFA on Monday 27 April, ending the sanction imposed on it following the dispute between the Congolese club and its former Mauritanian defender, Sid’Ahmed Ablla.
Vita Club was sanctioned on 17 March for breach of contract. However, this sanction has now been lifted following a settlement agreement between the player and the Muscovites. The Congolese club will therefore be able to register its new signings during the next transfer window. This comes as a relief for AS Vita Club.
