The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching, with more and more high-profile moves and blockbuster trades circulating around the league. However, it appears that one of the most talked-about potential deals will not materialise.

Details: According to insider Shams Charania, the Golden State Warriors are not prepared to go all in for Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee. The Warriors have pulled back after concluding that the Bucks have no intention of trading their franchise star.

This comes despite recent reports suggesting that the Greek superstar was open to leaving the Bucks ahead of the winter trade deadline, which runs until February 6.

The Milwaukee Bucks currently sit 12th in the Eastern Conference with a 20–29 record. Golden State, meanwhile, are in the Western Conference playoff zone with a 27–24 record.

Reminder: A former security staff member of the NBA’s Miami Heat has been sentenced to three years in prison for stealing and reselling team memorabilia.
