Golden State is interested in Miami forward Butler

The NBA team Golden State is seeking to bolster their offense for the upcoming season, and one of the options is Jimmy Butler.

According to journalist Nick Friedell, Jimmy Butler's name has surfaced in discussions and is likely on the team's shortlists.

"I think he fits on paper, but I don't know how he will integrate into the locker room as the alpha leader that he is. I also don't know if the Warriors, given his knee issues, will want to give him such an opportunity (to sign a contract)," stated Nick Friedell.

Butler has been playing for Miami since the summer of 2019. This season, he averaged 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.

In related news, the Los Angeles Lakers will soon conduct an interview with JJ Redick, a candidate for the head coach position. It is noted that if the meeting with the Lakers' management goes well, he will become the leading candidate for the job.
