Golden again! Harry Kane receives the European Golden Shoe
Harry Kane keeps collecting what his incredible scoring instinct deserves.
Details: The Bayern Munich striker was officially presented with the European Golden Shoe at a special ceremony at the FC Bayern Museum. The award from European Sports Media crowns the England captain as the leading league goalscorer on the continent following the 2025/26 season.
Kane smashed in 36 Bundesliga goals last term, collecting 72 points in the Golden Shoe standings and finishing well clear of Erling Haaland of Manchester City (54 points) and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé (50 points). Across all competitions, the striker scored 61 goals in 51 appearances for Bayern, while his total for club and country reached a staggering 73 goals in 65 matches.
This is the second Golden Shoe of Kane's career after the 2023/24 triumph, also secured with 36 goals. The 33-year-old joins Bayern legends Gerd Müller and Robert Lewandowski as a two-time winner, with only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of him on the all-time list. Kane's goals powered Bayern to the Bundesliga title, the German Cup and the German Super Cup last season.
It's worth noting that Kane also shone for England at the 2026 World Cup this summer, breaking Gary Lineker's record as the Three Lions' top scorer at the tournament and helping the team to a third-place finish.
Reminder: Harry Kane's future revealed. Where will the Englishman continue his career?
