In a dramatic Premier League Matchweek 14 clash between Liverpool and Sunderland, with Arne Slot's side trailing, it seemed Florian Wirtz had emerged as the hero.
Details: In the 81st minute, the German appeared to have found the back of the net. However, just minutes later, the Premier League officially amended the record: the goal was ruled as an own goal by Sunderland defender Nordi Mukiele.
As a result, Wirtz remains goalless after eighteen appearances for Liverpool.
It's worth noting that Liverpool kept pressing for a winner, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Reminder: Liverpool head coach Arne Slot kept Mohamed Salah on the bench for a second consecutive Premier League fixture.
