Globe Soccer Awards: Nominees Announced for Best Footballer of the Year

The Ballon d'Or for the best footballer of the year was recently awarded, with Manchester City's midfielder Rodri taking the honor. However, another individual awards ceremony is set to take place at the end of the year.

Details: The Globe Soccer Awards have revealed a list of 35 nominees for the Best Male Footballer of the Year. The list includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Vinícius, and other stars.

Fans can vote on the website to help select the finalists for this award. Nominees with the most votes will make up the shortlist of finalists in this category.

The awards ceremony will take place on December 27. Last year, the award for Best Footballer went to Erling Haaland.

Reminder: Late last month, Manchester City's central midfielder Rodri surprisingly won the 2024 Ballon d'Or. The player explained his victory, attributing it to his consistency, which he believes gave him an edge over Vinícius.
