Globe Soccer Awards named the best coach in Europe

The Globe Soccer Awards have determined the finest coach in Europe for the previous football season.
The accolade was bestowed upon the head coach of Bayer Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso. Besides the Spaniard, eight other specialists contended for this honor - Ruben Amorim (Sporting), Carlo Ancelotti (Real), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Gian Piero Gasperini (Atalanta), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Simone Inzaghi (Inter), Michel Sanchez (Girona), Thiago Motta (Bologna), and Xavi (Barcelona).
Under the guidance of the Spanish maestro, Bayer clinched both the league title and the German Cup this season. Prior to their defeat against Atalanta in the Europa League final, the team remained unbeaten for 51 consecutive matches.
Incidentally, Bayer's head coach, Xabi Alonso, had been linked with top-tier clubs for an extended period, but he declined to depart Leverkusen in the coming summer. However, the summer of 2025 casts significant uncertainty over the Spaniard's future.
