"Glad he stayed": Juventus respond to Man City's attempts to sign Cambiaso

Many clubs struggled to resist Manchester City’s financial power during the winter transfer window. However, Juventus stood firm, refusing to sell Andrea Cambiaso to Pep Guardiola’s side—and in Turin, they are pleased to have kept hold of one of their key players.

Details: Juventus’ sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli expressed his satisfaction that Cambiaso remained at the club despite Manchester City’s interest.

Quote: “There was interest from a major English club, but we are happy that he stayed. There was interest from a big English club, but in the end, nothing materialized. It’s nothing unusual.

We have many young players who attract attention, but we are keeping them. Juventus always has the duty and desire to give everything in every competition,” Giuntoli stated.
